THAI reinforcement Jeng Bualee will make another shot in getting her elusive championship for San Sebastian College. The power-hitting Bualee returns to the country on Good Friday to help the Lady Stags in saving their sagging campaign in the Shakey’s V-League first conference.
San Sebastian will face Far Eastern University in a ‘do or die’ match for the remaining quarterfinals berth in Group A on Easter Sunday at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan. Guest players Suzanne Roces and Cherry Macatangay gave their usual numbers but it was not enough for the Lady Stags, who dropped all their three matches and tie the Lady Tamaraws at the bottom of the standings.
Bualee will replace Roces, while Fil-Swiss libero Jennifer Salgado will take over from Macatangay. “Sana magbago ang ihip ng hangin sa pagpasok nina Jeng (Bualee) at Jennifer (Salgado),” said San Sebastian mentor Roger Gorayeb.
