Well, grabe. San to learned that the Taft-based lady spikers had to withdraw. Knowing that their import will come from Japan, it’s a pioneer move in which most of the volleybelle imports are coming from Thailand. Ganun na ba kahina ang La-Salle Taft? It’s still the Year of the Tiger and their tradition of winning in the V-League will continue and will dominate this season. La-Salle Taft is still a big and strong contender sana but look at their performance in the last UAAP Season 72 indoor volleyball competition, it didn’t even reach game 3. UST winning in 4 sets and in 2 games straight. And I still consider that UST is the most formidable and invincible in the history of the Shakey’s V-League. The most number of championship titles with an all-pinoy team (not unlike La-Salle Taft, a championship title with a Thai import in the person of Kanchana). Although La-Salle Taft won’t be playing this season and has been banned due to its immediate withdrawal for the nth time, this season will sure be exciting enough and I’ll be watching the performance of the Cebu-based champion Southwestern University against the Manila’s formidable team and the volleyballs champion Icon, UNIVERSITY OF SANTO TOMAS Lady Tigers.

I have watched the Opening Ceremonies yesterday, April 11, 2010 at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan. I never expected that the Ateneo and Benilde competition will be more exciting than the FEU vs UST fight. I beleive that College of St. Benilde is a strong contender (as they are the first runner of the NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championships) but they just fell short. As expected, the Thai guest player (Sontaya) did not help the Lady Eagles. Ateneo will just fall apart without coach Roger Gorayeb. As per UST, they just introduced themselves as the DEFENDING CHAMPION and still showed how formidable team they are. But they still need another guest player if they want to extend their VL title. Dindin Santiago improved a lot on her service. Probably it would be better if they will have Joyce Pano as a guest player. I am more interested in watching the cebu-based volleybelle champions, the SouthWestern University. More updates in the V-League.

Ano? Nagwithdraw na naman ang La Salle? Akala ko pa naman eh makikita ko na ang Japanese import kuno nila. Honestly, I felt that La Salle is the only team that could perhaps give UST a good fight. How sad that they are not in it again—-WHEWW! I am always for Ateneo but this squad is actually fall short of good defender, esp. at the net. Kulang talaga sila height person per person against UST. Ano na nga pala nangyari sa player nila na super tangkad by the name of Ms. Patnongon. Why is she not seeing action yet? Ano ba talaga ang real issue sa kanya? Give me some feed. Honestly, even if I am always out of the country, di nakakalusot sa akin ang news about volleyball (UAAP & V-League). I didn’t miss any game in the Arena or whereever everytime I was there.

hi… im a fan of shakeys v-league but can’t watch even with a delayed telecast. Im working from 8 to 5 pm from mondays to saturdays. Pwede pa air sked nyt or late @ nite… i Loved SAN SEBASTIAN RECOLETOS specially Lu An Latigay & ZAZA DEVANADERA (hope they can play for this season) and the rest of the group themselves.. GO GO GO BASTE…. and to BAULEE and MARGARITA PEPITO, i am praying u can play @ the finals this season.. Good Luck to you LADY STAGS

i’m such a fan of the usls lady stingers! since i am also from bacolod….i talked to one of the aplasca sisters (Loverich) and that conversation between us proved that they are determined and they are working so hard to be in this competition…. i think the other teams as well are doing the same… because in a competition like this… it is never like the games i play here in the city i live in… the finals games are intense here… what more in an event such as this? i wish the lady stingers good luck tomorrow!!! hope you guys bring it all you have! show ‘em what you got and make us all proud!
